This relationship is not approved by Tina's wealthy widowed step-dad Suresh Oberoi (Raj Babbar) who hopes to marry Tina with his friend's (Bharat Kapoor) son. When Badal attends college, he meets pretty and precocious Tina Oberoi (Twinkle Khanna) and, after a few misunderstandings and misadventures, they fall in love. He is introduced to city life by Damru (Harish Patel) who calls himself Danny. Incidentally, after 10 years, actor Bobby Deol worked in same movie title Barsaat (2005 film) Plotīadal (Bobby Deol) is a naive but intelligent young man who comes from a small village to the big city to attend college. The movie was initially titled Jaan, later changed to Meri Jeet then Jeet and then Satwa Asmaan, before the Deols settled on Barsaat. The film was directed by Rajkumar Santoshi. He is introduced to city life by Damru (Harish Patel) who now calls himself Danny. He also pressurizes Tina not to acknowledge and meet Badal anymore, and Tina reluctantly agrees.Barsaat (English: Rain) is a 1995 Hindi romantic film which was the debut of Bobby Deol (son of veteran actor Dharmendra) and Twinkle Khanna (daughter of late actor Rajesh Khanna). Badal's dad (Mukesh Khanna) also comes to the big city to try and make sense of why Badal ended up in prison. Neghi arrests Badal on trumped up charges and imprisons him. Tina's dad then asks a corrupt cop, Neghi, who is the city's Assistant Commissioner of Police, for assistance. Tina's dad complains to the college principal (Vijay Kashyap), but Tina testifies in favour of Badal.
